Three operators, one shop.

Each of us runs our own market. Between us we've spent decades inside B2B sales, tech, ecommerce, and small business operations, and we've seen the inside of how the agency world really works. Most of it is built around protecting margin, not building real businesses for clients.

Brand Expand is built differently. Each market has its own person running the work, picking up the phone, and standing behind every site we ship. Between us, the team has more than 50 years of combined experience growing businesses online.

Our Story

Why this exists

I got tired of watching good local businesses get quoted $8,000 for a website they didn't need, sold into platforms they didn't understand, and locked into agreements they couldn't get out of. I'd see contractors, shop owners, and family businesses pour money into "marketing" and walk away with nothing they could point to.

The agency model is set up to maximize what a client pays. We wanted to flip that and build something where the work could just get done, the price was fair, and you could actually reach the person doing it.

So we built Brand Expand around local operators running local markets. Custom-built websites, real local search foundations, ongoing support priced like Main Street. When you hire us, you're hiring a real person in your region who picks up the phone and stands behind the work. Not a platform, not an account, not a ticket queue.

What I believe about marketing

A few things I've learned the hard way that drive how I work with every client.

You should own everything

Your domain, your content, your photos, your customer list. If you ever want to leave, you take it all with you. No lock-in, no held hostage.

Clear beats clever

Your website's job isn't to win design awards. It's to tell people what you do, why they should care, and how to hire you. Everything else is decoration.

Slow and steady wins

SEO takes 3-6 months to kick in. Real growth takes a year. Anyone promising fast results is selling you something that won't last.

Word of mouth still works

The best digital marketing in the world won't beat a customer telling their neighbor. The job is to make sure when that neighbor Googles you, you actually show up.

One channel done right

Most small businesses are spread too thin trying to do Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google, and email all at once. Pick one. Do it well. Add another only when the first one is humming.

Pick up the phone
